Need for Speed creators, EA Sports, are rumoured to be releasing a Team Racing pack for the latest version of their gaming favourite, Need for Speed SHIFT on December 3 this year, just in time for holiday shopping. The Team Racing Pack, according to press releases, will be free for Xbos and Playstation 3.The add-on will feature five renowned racing cars as well as a new racing mode (evident in the title).  

Original version, SHIFT, is said to have been created by racer for racers and the add-on looks to be a creation by gamers for gamers with friends. The realistic graphics enable players to immerse themselves into the game for an unparalleled driving experience, including a first-person cockpit viewpoint while driving.  

The combination of G-force perspectives plunge gamers into a very real and intense racing environment. SHIFT features an accurate physics based driving model to give drivers the feel of high-energy racing with every impact and change of surface level being felt.  

Each driver is also allowed a unique persona with driver skills and style (based on aggression or precision). The driver’s profile influence which cars are unlocked and online gaming modes. SHIFT is the ultimate in virtual motor-sport, showing gamers what they would be like behind the wheel of a sports car.
