Lady Gaga breaks into 2010
Only one week into 2010 and Lady
Gaga is already topping the charts. Single, “Bad Romance” reached
number one on the UK single’s chart on January 3 this year, while
“Poker Face” was crowned the best-selling single of 2009 by
the Official Charts Company.
Lady Gaga entered 2010 with more than one bang, though,
at the Miami Beach Fontainebleau New Year’s Eve poolside performance
where the outlandish star pulled in a crowd of young Hollywood starlets
including Hayden Panettiere and Kevin Connolly. Mesmerizing audiences
with her electro-pop sounds, the singer took the after party upstairs
to her penthouse with 20 of her dancers. The party continued until the
early hours of the morning.
Her latest album, The Fame Monster
includes previous releases from The Fame, but also new single
“Bad Romance” and unreleased dance songs. A limited deluxe edition
of the album sees fans getting more than her voice, but a piece of her.
The collectors item comes with a lock of the singers infamous hair,
as well as paper dolls, 3D glasses and outrageous photos by David LaChepelle.
