Roulette is one of the most well-know casino games and remains a casino favourite. This is because the game is fairly self-explanatory and the rules are easy to learn. Roulette originally comes from France and is based on a number of preexisting European board games. Modern roulette tables have a roulette wheel (“roulette” is French for “little wheel”) and a layout of felt with a number of betting fields printed on it in which players can place chips to mark their bets.
You don’t have to go to a casino to play roulette though. It’s a fun party game, and you can buy your own deluxe roulette set to play at home with friends. Sets will most often include chips, a croupiers rake, the roulette wheel and a table layout on green felt. You just need a minute to set it up on a table in your home and you’re ready to start playing.
