Description

Based on the much-loved television series of the 1960s, "The Beverly Hillbillies" (1993) follows the Clampetts from rural Ozarks to a dazzling mansion in Beverly Hills. Seen during her character's brief stay in a nursing home, this straitjacket is an original costume worn by Cloris Leachman as Granny. The sand-colored canvas straitjacket has red piping at the collar and features the traditional long sleeves and straps, as well as five web belts that buckle on the back of the garment. The piece retains a warning label attached to the interior at the waist and a "J.T. POSERY CO." maker's label. It is in good condition, with pilling at the collar and minor spots of soiling and discoloration throughout.
