I am proud to offer the following SIGNED and AUTHENTICATED Little Boy Atomic Bomb that has been signed by Paul Tibbets. Mr. Tibbets added "Pilot To Hiroshima 6 Aug 1945" with his signature. Mr. Tibbets died in 2007. The replica bomb is in BRAND NEW/NEVER BEFORE DISPLAYED condition.
Here are some details about the model itself:
Limited Edition.- The model is 1/12 in scale.
- The model is affixed to the cradle so you can't remove it.
- The model measures approximately 10" long, 2 1/4" wide, 3 1/2" high.
- The model is mounted on an approximately 17" x 6" hand crafted mahogany base, with a 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" metal plaque affixed.
- Protecting the model is a clear hard acrylic cover.
- The acrylic cover is approximately 6" high.
- The model is steel blue in color and is built to the exacting detail from the original drawings.
- Signed beautifully by Mr. Tibbets in a silver marker.
- This is the only Paul Tibbets signed Little Boy Atomic Bomb replica model on eBay that has been authenticated by PSA/DNA.
PLEASE NOTE: Although the model has been signed twice by Mr. Tibbets, I elected to have PSA/DNA verify only the signature on the replica bomb itself because it has the more prominent signature and added inscription.
