Description
Set during the aftermath of the Gulf War, "Courage Under Fire" (1996) is a mystery played out against a series of conflicting wartime flashbacks. Used during combat sequences, this helmet is an original accessory from the film. The white flight helmet is decorated with blue flames and text outlined in red that reads, "USA." The helmet has a rough cast-fiberglass shell with a foam-padded interior. Its sides are covered with olive-green mesh netting. Attached to sides of the lining are two earpieces and a mouth microphone piece. It retains an electrical cord on the right side earpiece. Any electronics are untested. The helmet is in good condition, with minor grime build-up throughout. There is minor loss of material throughout. It is for display use only.
