We recommend that you do not use your heater while the magnet is mounted in your car's air vents. Also, the thickness of your case can decrease the effectiveness of the magnet.
We highly recommend that you either attach the metal plate directly on the back of your phone case or, if you are not using a case, directly on the back of your device.
If installing directly on your iPhone with no case, attach the metal plate to a back film as there may be some risk of leftover residue upon removal.
