Vent your portable air conditioner up into your drop ceiling with this drop ceiling vent kit (model: APDK1). This drop ceiling vent kit for portable air conditioners is designed for use with 9' drop ceilings that use standard 24" by 24" or 24" by 48" panels. Please note that this drop ceiling vent kit is designed for use with the following models: AP12000S, AP14000HS, AP14000HW, AP14001HS, AP14002HS, AP14009COM, and PAC1401W. This ceiling kit may be used with many other brands of portable air conditioner with little or no modification, however you will need to consult with one of our experts before using it with other brands. Please note that by extending the exhaust hose may affect the cooling ability of the air conditioner. We never recommend extending a portable air conditioners' exhaust hose beyond 10 feet. Easy to Install: Simply remove a drop ceiling tile and replace it with the provided panel and attach the hose Durable Ducting: The ceiling panel is made from stainless steel and has a layer of insulation so it will last long and prevent most heat from reentering the room
