These Monsters don't replace the Tooth Fairy tradition, they enhance it by providing a fun, interactive conclusion to the usual cash-for-tooth swap. In fact, The Toothless Monster was created when a little girl asked her parents where teeth go when the Tooth Fairy takes them. An off-the-cuff reply that she gives them to a creature in need eventually led to the idea for a more magical, meaningful, Tooth Fairy experience. More rewarding than any tooth pillow, box, or holder, The Toothless Monster book and plush doll teach children a subtle lesson about empathy, kindness, and giving. Kids absolutely LOVE helping Meli earn her teeth!

Here's how it works:
- When your child loses a tooth, start reading the book to learn why not having teeth is a BIG problem for a little Monster. Partway through, the book will tell you to stop reading until the child has given a tooth to their Monster.
- Before going to bed, the child will place their baby tooth in the secret tooth pouch located under the Monster's tongue.
- That night, the Tooth Fairy (wink wink!) will collect the baby tooth, leave the gifts of their choosing, and permanently snap one of the provided plastic teeth into the Monster's jaw.
- The next morning, your child will be thrilled to find not only their Tooth Fairy gifts, but also that their Monster magically gained a new tooth!
- The process repeats with each lost tooth. The book concludes after four teeth, but you can continue giving teeth to The Toothless Monster for as long as you like (16 teeth are included.)
