Unique Double-Sided Build Plate Design: The PEI+PEY Build Plate boasts a double-sided configuration. One side features a smooth PEY sheet adorned with a dazzling star and dot pattern that shimmers with varying colors when viewed from different angles. This distinctive pattern also transfers onto the printed models. On the flip side, there's a textured PEI print bed with a distinct frosted texture.
Outstanding Initial Layer Adhesion: This PEI and PEY spring steel flexible build plate, measuring 257x257mm, offers exceptional adhesion properties, surpassing even smooth PEI, PET, or PEO surfaces. It adheres effectively without the need for platform heating or the use of glue.
Convenient Maintenance: Maintaining the PEY surface is a breeze. A simple wipe with a damp tissue followed by drying with a dry tissue is all it takes to restore it to its original cleanliness. No alcohol or other cleaning solvents are required.
Interesting Observation to Note: The starry pattern on printed models may fade or vanish if touched by hands or oily objects. However, there's no need to worry. By wiping the surface with a wet tissue or alcohol, the starry pattern can be easily restored.
Compatible Filaments: Extensive testing has revealed that PEY is ideal for printing with PLA, TPU, and PETG, with recommended temperature settings ranging from 50℃ to 70℃, not exceeding 90℃. On the other hand, PEI is recommended for PLA, PLA-CF, PETG, PC, ABS, TPU, Nylon, and more.
