It is really quite cute! Your fish will love the pirate ships and this really is quite fetching. It makes the tank look a lot more fun and the fish were really curious about it too.

The edges of the small hole are not as sharp as other ornaments I have bought in the past for other tanks which is a very good thing as you do not want your fish to tear their fins on sharp edges. It is a small hole however so doubtful many fish could fit through it unless very tiny ones.
