Adjustable with hooks and laces. The tightest lacing will fit 16 inches at the largest part of the calf to 12.5 inches at the ankle
The M1936 Leggings are designed to prevent snagging and keep stones, mud, etc. from getting inside the soldier's boots, and to provide some ankle support. Suitable for outdoor activities, like climbing,hiking and camping
Officially called "Leggings Canvas Dismounted M1936" these where worn by all Infantry troops in WW2 that wore ankle boots like the Leather Service boot and the Rough out boot
