The Hunger Games – Suzanne Collins

Immerse yourself with the food for thought books that increase your intellectual capacity to be broad-minded and educating. The book that I am about to review is specifically suited for teenagers because the content of it deals wholeheartedly about the teenager. It is titled The Hunger by Suzanne Collins, and for its fact file is that it has sold over one million books and 98% of the sale has received a positive feedback from readers around the globe, and for that surely it will surely put in buying this book with an added confidence.

Basically The Hunger Games is about Katniss is a 16-year-old girl living with her mother and younger sister in the poorest, dilapidated and under-privileged district of Panem, the remains of what used to be the nodal districts of the United States. Long ago the districts waged war on the Capitol and were defeated hands down, which this (defeat) adversely hampered and affected the ordinary lives of the local inhabitants. As part of the surrender terms, each district agreed to send one boy and one girl to appear in an annual televised event called, "The Hunger Games" which is infested with vigour and brutality. The terrain, rules, and level of audience participation may change but one thing is constant: kill or be killed that is the ultimate price you have to sacrifice for your chosen district if you get bowed down by your companion rival. When Kat's sister is chosen by lottery, Kat steps up to go in her place to brace the event heartlessly.

Get the inside scoop when you peruse this marvellous and suspense in total effect and is full of idealistic and sheer bravery of youngsters.

If you want to have this book by the intellectual Suzanne Collins and read everything in detail, just head straight to wantitall.co.za to have it for yourself. Trust me you wouldn’t stop till the last page because of its riveting content.
