This historic day marks one of the
eventful moments on the hearts and thoughts of the US residents as they
get to celebrate it every year with fireworks, parades, barbecues,
carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, family reunions,
and political speeches and ceremonies, in addition to various other
public and private events celebrating the history, government, and
traditions of the United States. ID4 as it’s
called dates back centuries ago that is to be precise in 1776 since the
country adopted the declaration policy to be an independent country
from the Great Britain and still happens to be as popular hence it is a
national holiday on the 4th of July every year. And that tale of events
is being told on a small box through this 1994 American science fiction
film of the same name titled Independence Day. With regards to how
things unfold here on this film, basically it takes a look at when we
see the massive spaceships appear in Earth's skies. But wonder turns to
terror as the ships blast destructive beams of fire down on cities all
over the planet. Now the world's only hope lies with a determined band
of survivors, uniting for one last strike against the invaders - before
it's the end of all mankind. In Independence Day, a scientist played by
Jeff Goldblum once actually had a fistfight with a man (Bill Pullman)
who is now president of the United States.
That
same president, late in the film, personally flies a jet fighter to
deliver a payload of missiles against an attack by
extraterrestrials. Independence Day is the kind of movie so giddy with
its own outrageousness that one doesn't even blink at such howlers in
the plot. Directed by Roland Emmerich,
Independence Day is a pastiche of conventions from flying-saucer movies
from the 1940s and 1950s, replete with icky monsters and bizarre
coincidences that create convenient shortcuts in the story.
It
is no wonder even today is still being regarded as one of the biggest
box office hits of all time which is why I would love you to have it now
on the very latest Blu-ray DVD of it by means of our online shopping
