They have a laser-cut and engraved wooden top and bottom to the bobbin, and come pre-wired to a mono output jack with a 12-inch shielded lead. These pickups are intended to be mounted into the cavity of a guitar so that the top of the bobbin extends up through an obling, rounded-end rectangle cut in the top.
