Pitsco Fold-N-Roll Racer Kit (For 16 Students)

The Pitsco 54546 Fold-N-Roll Racer Kit provides students in grades 3-8 a hands-on activity to build a model race car using a template to demonstrate the scientific concepts of motion, drag, and friction, and it includes cardstock templates that students can cut out and fold into shape for three-dimensional racers. The kit includes 16 different colorful cardstock templates, plastic front and rear wheels, wooden axles, plastic straws to use as axles, and instructions to build the racers and turn them into rolling vehicles. The Fold-N-Roll Racer Kit introduces the transportation and scientific concepts of friction, rolling friction, and potential and kinetic energy. It reinforces engineering, technology, and math concepts as students build, test, and experiment with different styles of model race cars. A model racer kit is typically used in an educational setting to demonstrate engineering, aerodynamics, and physics.

Construction requires scissors, hobby knife, and tape (all sold separately). Optional custom wheels are sold separately.
