The SE HP4M Cotter Pin Hairpin fastens material together and gives fast, secure hold for bolts and pins. Hairpin cotters (or â€œR clipsâ€) are a spring-type cotter made to be reusable and have an asymmetrical bulb and wave on one half of the pin. It is generally meant to be used on a groove with the other half of the straight pin, which is used in through-holes. This cotter pin is ideal for garage and shop applications and for repairing cars, trucks, tractors, mowing equipment and more. This item is easy to open, with one prong longer than the other. Our cotter pin measures .157" x 3-1/8". This product is made of zinc plated steel, which offers excellent protection against oxidation and corrosion.
