I just wanted to say that I am thrilled and most delighted with the efficient service you gave me, and the speed with which my order from the USA came. You kept me informed on each stage of the process, and delivered on your promises. It was also convenient to be able to pay by direct bank transfer rather than credit card. My order took only 6.5 working days to arrive! YOU GUYS ROCK!

DVD Restrepo

If you havent seen this film then consider to have technically seen it because I am about to paint a picture of how this 2010 film depicts all of the real events that took place just a few years back. The film is called Restrepo and this military film or simply put it is documentary film about the Afghanistan war, directed by American journalist Sebastian Junger and British/American photojournalist Tim Hetherington. In general overview, the film explores the year that Junger and Hetherington spent in Afghanistan on assignment for Vanity Fair, embedded with the Second Platoon, B Company, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment (airborne), 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team of the U.S. Army in the Korengal valley. The 2nd Platoon is depicted defending an Observation Post (OP) named OP Restrepo, for PFC Juan Sebastian Restrepo, a Colombian-born naturalized U.S. citizen platoon medic who was killed earlier in the campaign. The Korengal Valley was at the time regarded as "the deadliest place on Earth" (as stated in the documentary itself, trailers, and television commercials on the National Geographic Channel). The goal of the deployment is to clear the Korengal Valley of insurgency and continue to gain the trust of the local populace. They begin their deployment at OP Korengal, and early in the campaign PFC Restrepo is killed, as well as another team member, PFC Vimoto. The film portrays negotiations with the local people, construction of an advanced outpost, OP Restrepo, as well as the challenges and intermittent firefights they faced.

I mean to top it all the film since its initial release it has garnered the immaculate achievements such as being awarded the grand Jury Festival for best documentary at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival proving the critics wrongs as they doubted it from the very first time it premiered. Surely you too you wouldnt like this opportunity of watching this documentary film to just bypass you like that when especially I have managed to paint you a picture of everything unfolds in this film.
