Testimonials
I was in the states at the beginning of the year. I had the most amazing trip. Unfortunately I couldn't buy most of the stuff I wanted to, because I would have been over the weight limit with my luggage. I was most disappointed because I was having to really shortlist my want list. Anyways, I got back and a friend told me about WantItAll.co.za. I was able to order all the items I left behind. They were very helpful and friendly when I contacted them about my concerns about placing a big order. Never the less I received my package 8 days later. Thank you WantItAll.co.za for a job well done!!!

The Lost Symbol - Best prices

Brown’s Digital Symbol Tops Hard Copy at Amazon

The advent of the eBook had publishers and authors in somewhat of a flurry as falling sales and poor protection of copyright flooded their nightmares. But it appears as though Dan Brown should be thanking Amazon’s Kindle  for the outrageous sales the eBook seems to be making over hard copies.

According to C-net news, The Lost Symbol  is selling better on the Kindle than Amazon’s hard copy delivery. While the overall sales place the book as the site’s best seller, the Mystery and Thrillers Page separates the hard copy and Kindle® versions, with the Kindle® version one up on the hard copy.

Before digital-fundis roar with evidence that the eBook is becoming more popular, the difference in sales can more likely be attributed to $6.18 – $6.18 difference between the versions. While the hard copy has that authentic book smell and the option to be read in the bath, it’s more expensive than the hard copy version. Retailing at $9.99, the e-version of the book is the recessions favourite.

These stats however are only from one store, namely Amazon.com. The hard copy still tops the e-version at Barnes and Noble which also sells the digital version. Whatever the case, the eBook is earning Dan quite a royalty – royalties which would have been absent if Random House stuck to their original decision to not offer the book as a digital.
