Jeff Hardy to return to wrestling in TNA stable
Wrestler Jeff Hardy is confident that he will be able to get out of the legal mess he’s in and return to the WWE, if they’ll have him back. No matter, says Jeff, he’ll go over to competitors TNA (Total Nonstop Action) if they won’t have him back.
Hardy appeared on TNA on January 4 for a one night only debut, yet reports are circulating, stipulating that he has signed an extended contract with the company. Hardy’s agent is currently negotiating with TNA to sign the wrestler as a full-time member as soon as the legal situation is sorted out.
Last year September Jeff Hardy was arrested for trafficking in opium – two counts possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance. His bail was posted for US$125 000. Police executed a search at his home near Cameron, North Carolina where the seized approximately 260 Vicodin prescription pills, 180 Soma prescription pills, 550 mililitres of anabolic steroids and a residual amount of powder cocaine.
The US$2 500 worth of drugs were found during the wrestler’s break from the WWE. The World Heavyweight Champion left after he lost his title and his contract expired. Fortunately his contract had expired otherwise the organisation would have fired Hardy for violating their no-drug policy for the third time.
