Evolver would like to say thank you to WantItAll.co.za for all their help and support. Evolver ordered all its recording equipment through WantItAll.co.za from the states to record their second album – “Whats the Story?” We had a pretty tight deadline to reach to finish the recording of the album and we were well impressed at the speed our order arrived. Thank you

Picture perfect celeb Apprentice

This season, The Apprentice takes on US celebs and puts them to the Trump test for… well, “money, money, money, moneeey”. Episode two of the reality show sees Kodak get a ton of product placement as celeb contestants’ receive a project involving marketing at Kodak. The project requires teams to sell Kodak products. Sinbad and Maria are elected project manager for the teams.

The women’s team ran a storefront and organised a promotional event to draw in crowds. WWFs Maria went with a red carpet theme where shoppers got their picture taken with Cyndi Lauper after which they could learn about Kodak products while waiting for their pictures to get developed. Although it was quite disorganised and the printer kept breaking down, shoppers were exposed to many Kodak products and got their photos with a celebrity.

The men went with a different approach by allowing shoppers to have their picture taken with them: celebrity Apprentice contestants. Afterwards, customers could download (instead of having their pictures printed for them) from a website which was printed on a piece of paper for them. There were also a range of Kodak products available for perusal at an unmanned table – which is always welcoming.

“The Celebrity Apprentice” airs on M-Net, Friday nights from 19h00.
