Robert Pattinson becomes immortal
Like his Twilight Saga character Edward Cullen, teen heartthrob Robert Pattinson is to become immortal alongside the likes of Marilyn Manroe and Queen Elizabeth with his very own waxwork at the Madame Tussauds in London and New York.
Sculptor Luke Fisher is working with a number of members of Tussards staff to capture the perfect likeness of the Twilight immortal. In order to do this the team has been studying hundreds of photos of the star and watching endless hours of (no doubt online) videos to capture what Fisher calls R-Pattz “sultry expression and inimitable style”.
To avoid what would indubitably cause another world war, Madame Tussaud is giving raving fans on both sides of the Atlantic an opportunity to see the ‘sultry’ actor in inanimate form. If that’s not enough, fans can watch the Pattinson in his upcoming, non-Twilight-related film “Remember Me” in which he and co-star Emilie De Ravin play a few intimate scenes.
The shy actor was promised that he would shoot the saucy scenes with a modesty patch covering his… er, private areas. Yet when the time came, the wardrobe staff had no such patch available. Half a bra was fashioned to provide the modesty while the stars filmed their scenes in a bedroom laden with sex toys, handcuffs and silk ties that didn’t make the cut for the film. Apparently these won’t appear in a high graded version of the film or DVD, says Ravin.
