“Hannah Montana” and
“JONAS” Disney Channel crossover in the cards, says Nick Jonas.
Rumours of a Hannah-Montana-Jonas-Brothers
crossover has been leaked to MTV. Nick Jonas spoke to the music channel
about “JONAS” joining forces with Miley Cyrus’s “Hannah
Montana”. The group and the singer/actress are already familiar, so
a doubled up show is an easy follow-on.
Nick told MTV that, although Disney
Channels do a lot of crossovers, him and his brothers are concentrating
on their acting before they have guests on their show. Having the somewhat
more talented actress Cyrus on their show, however, could boost ratings;
which may be necessary as the first season wasn’t exactly a sensation.
Cyrus’s show, though, is one of
the most successful TV shows on American cable, and the most popular
on Disney, spawning a film and a fourth season to appear some time in
2010. The massively popular show has innumerable spin-offs including
the PSP 3000 Limited Edition Hannah Montana Entertainment Pack, which includes the Hannah Montana: Rock
Out The Show video game, DVDs and music videos.
