Testimonials
I think people are very quick to complain but very seldom take the time to compliment good service - and good service is so rare these days that I thought I must take the time to say thank you. I recently decided to purchase a movie originally made in 1956. I really thought I would have a hard time finding it but I found it within seconds on the WantItAll.co.za website. I ordered it and received it, at my home, 9 working days later. Considering this DVD had to come from the USA I think 9 days is nothing short of a miracle. I was kept informed by WantItAll.co.za via email of the status of my order throughout the process. Previously when I have purchased from other websites not only have I had the hassle of going to the post office to collect my parcel, I always seem to forget that I am expected to pay import duty and the "bargain" I purchased all of sudden isn’t such a bargain after all. At least there are no hidden surprises with WantItAll.co.za - the price is all inclusive. Thank you for excellent service. I will definitely purchase from you again.

The Lion King

The Lion King does an encore at The Majestic Theater, Texas

Although no longer in theatres in South Africa, The Lion King is by no means over. Beginning its second visit to The Majestic Theatre, San Antonio, Texas. Micahel Curry, puppet designer for the touring play, relates that the opening scene is more than just a primer to display the costumes, but sets up the audience to invest emotion in the play.

The opener breaks down any preconceived notions visitors of the play may have about the play, opening them to the unique interpretation of the 1994 hit Disney film. The film begins with the arrival of the animals to render homage to the newly born male lion, Simba. The stage performance sees members of the cast troop through the audience, making the play more intimate for the audience.

The original puppetry designs were expected to be animatronic, which, says Curry, was idiotic and destined for failure from the beginning. Teaming up with director Julie Taymor, Curry managed to pull off the hugely successful show for audiences all over the world.

The team take up another partnership in “Spiderman: Turn off the Dark” expected to be in theatres by February. Curry states that although there won’t be much puppetry, it’s going to be a fantastic show.

The Special Platinum Edition of Disney’s The Lion King  is available from WantItAll at the Best Price of R892.00.
