Try on Tissot watches virtually in your own home
Swiss watch company Tissot have pioneered a new application for Augmented Reality, which allows you to try on a range of their watches in the comfort of your own home in front of your computer. Instead of going into the store to try on their range, you can experience the Tissot Touch Collection in 3D on your wrist by printing the paper watch image, and downloading the application.
All you need is a webcam and a pair of scissors and you can own a virtual T-Touch. Cut out the printed watch and strap it to your arm. Once your application is downloaded and cardboard cutout is on your wrist, the webcam application detects the watch and simulates the selected watch on the screen in front of you while also detailing its features. It also comes with a 3D adjustable strap and Bluetooth photo option which can send to yourself.
Tissot have also installed this feature at a Selfridges store in London giving shoppers the opportunity to try on watches virtually. The range of watches available to try on virtually totals an impressive 28 different styles, colours and straps. To try on a T-Touch, visit Tissot Reality.
