iPhone
The iPhone is a
line of Internet and multimedia-enabled Smartphone designed and
marketed by Apple Inc. The first iPhone was introduced on January 9,
2007; the Apple iPhone sets a new benchmark for an integrated cell
phone and MP3
player. The Apple iPhone has a stunning display, a sleek design,
and an innovative multitouch user interface, Its Safari browser makes
for a superb Web surfing experience, and it offers easy-to-use apps. As
an iPod, it shines.
From one generation to another certain features have remained the
same but the upgrade of the device is has always been beyond great.
Despite the fact that they keep us guessing and biting our nails asking
ourselves when is next release, the iPhone has revolutionized the
mobile industry.
There have been four generations of iPhone hardware, and they have
been accompanied by four major releases of iOS (formerly iPhone OS).
The original iPhone established design precedents like screen size and
button placement that have persisted through all models. The iPhone 3G
brought 3G
cellular network capabilities and A-GPS location. The iPhone 3GS
brought a compass, faster processor, and higher resolution camera,
including video.
The iPhone 4 has two cameras for FaceTime video calling and higher
resolution display. It was released on June 24, 2010 in certain
countries and is in the process of being released worldwide.
The iPhone 4 is the first device to support FaceTime, an embedded video
conferencing application that is able to use either the front or back
camera over a Wi-Fi connection to communicate with another iPhone 4.
