The PlayStation 3 saw some good growth this Christmas season, with sales increasing by 130% and retaining good growth throughout the year.
According to Sony, the PS3 has sold 60% more between November 30th and January 1st than in the same period last year. If we consider we are in the worst recession in 70 odd years, this is extremely positive. The price drops and new SKUs have helped drive PlayStation 3 sales.
Keep it up Sony, we want to see more of this in 2009.
