According to industy analyst iSuppli, Sony has reduced the production costs of the PS3 by a massive $392, from $840 to $448 per unit produced. Sony are now $48 away from breaking even with the PS3. This wonderful news translates into a possible price drop sometime in the future as Sony can afford to try and get their unloved child into more homes worldwide.
2009 should be the perfect year to invest in the Playstation 3, if not just to play (the now patched) LittleBigPlanet and Metal Gear Solid 4
