LOST
series won’t get found, says co-producer
Infamously bizarre TV series,
LOST ,
recently entered its final season (season six), which, says co-creator
and producer Damon Lindelof, will not end with a bang as most avid audiences
are expecting. Creators want the legacy of the series to be the series
itself and not the finale as it was with The Sopranos.
Fans will not get all the answers
they want about the island. Previously, the executive producer stated
that he’d give audiences more answers in the sixth season than in
all the others put together – which sounds quite appropriate
when you consider that all previous five seasons only raised more questions.
Although there will be more answers,
the nature of the island and its power will remain an inside secret.
Lindelof tells viewers that “the island is a place. I can’t explain
why it travels through space-time, it just does. You have to accept
that.” Other big questions will be answered but the island will remain
an anomaly.
The series has raised too many questions
to be answered and tying up all the loose ends will be pedantic says
Lindelof. “There will however be a healthy mix of answers, mystery,
character resolution and surprises.” Surprises which not even the
cast are aware of as the finale has been kept very quiet.
