“Hitman” Hart returns to the WWE after a decade-long absence.
After a decade-long absence from
the World Wrestling Entertainment stable, Bret “Hitman” Hart
is returning to WWE on a contract basis, according to the wrestling
organisation’s website. Hart, now 52 years old, has managed to patch
his relationship with impresario Vince McMahon to take on a role with
the WWE on a temporary basis.
The wrestler, actor and auto-biographer
has signed a contract that will run until April 2010, during which he
may make an appearance in the WrestleMania 26 event in Glendale, Ariz
in March. The wrestler managed to terminate his contract with the WWE
in 1997 when he punched McMahon back stage as a result of the title
fight.
His decade long absence earned him
hall of fame status is 2006. Now famous, the wrester is taking an on-air
role with the WWE and may not actually wrestle. As a result of his stroke
suffered in 2002, his grappling career was put on hold.
