Pre-orders for
New Moon DVD and Blu-ray start on WantItAll
In less than two months Twilight
fans will have New Moon Blu-ray to own on Blu-ray and DVD, yet that doesn't mean they can't
already buy it. New Moon hits pre-order sales on online retailers,
including WantItAll, guaranteeing that Twi-hards will get their DVD
by the 20th of March when it hits stores. The Twilight New Moon two disc special edition
is going for R495 , and Blu-ray for R360.
The special edition DVD comes with
a number of unmissable extras such as audio commentary with director
Chris Weitz and editor Peter Lamber, an hour-long, six-part behind the
scene series, rehearsal footage from Muse who’s song “I Belong to
You” appears in the film as well as music vids from Death Cab for
Cutie, Anya Maria and MuteMath.
Weitz is rumoured to have added deleted
scenes onto the double disc edition as well as a number of featurettes:
Becoming Jacob (6 minutes), Introducing the Wolf Pack (9 minutes) and
Shooting in Italy (7 minutes). Edward Fast Forward and Jacob Fast Forward
are both 30-minute features, while the interview with the Volturi is
12 minutes. Fandimonium (7 minutes), The Beat Goes On: The Music of
New Moon (5 minutes) and Frame by Frame: Storyboards to Screen (20
minutes) are also on the special features disc.
The NewMoonMovie.org site mentions
a three-disc special edition called “Bella’s Box Set” is
being released from Scandinavia, which is not complete and not verified.
But die hard fans will probably make the trip to get it.
