Transformers 3 to be filmed in the Windy City?
Director of Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen announced a Transformers 3 for July 2011 release. Shooting begins on the project in May this year and looks set, according to Bay, to be different from the first two films.
According to MichaelBay.com, the director is scouting Washington DC,
Chicago and Detroit for possible locations for the film. Previous Bay
film Bad Boys and 2010 release A Nightmare on Elm Street were filmed in
Chicago. That coupled with the news that
the largest filming
complex between the East and West coasts, Chicago Studio City, has
posted a sign indicating that Michael Bay’s office can be found at the
studio, has many bloggers convinced that the Windy City will be Bay’s
choice for Transformers 3 – a working title.
While Bay is being very quiet about the film, he has said that there will be less explosions, less robots and more time travel. Whether we will see less of Megan Fox changing clothes for no reason, posing painstakingly before Baywatching into a sprint away from Megatron and the gang is yet to be seen.
Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen two-disc special edition and in Blu-ray are available from WantItAll.
