Guess team up with Maison Chance to help the disadvantaged

Guess with worldwide distributor of Guess watches, Sequel AG, are teaming up to raise money for ‘Maison Chance’–meaning ‘House of Luck’. A fundraising campaign, ‘Faces to Watch – Time to Give’, has seen the clothing and accessory label release a brand new limited edition ladies’ watch named ‘Time to Give’.

The sleek gold plated watch with embedded diamantes around the face boasts an imitation python-skin strap with replicated pattern on the face of the watch. In typical Guess fashion, the beautiful women’s watch is eye catching and elegant, while throwing in a touch of altruism. For each watch sold, Guess will contribute an amount to Swiss philanthrope Tim Aline Rebeaud’s ‘Maison Chance’.

The charity operating in Vietnam provides educational and vocational training for 200 children, 70 handicapped people, while also providing housing and care for 60 people with disabilities. After an extensive trip throughout Asia, Rebeaud arrived in Vitenam at the age of 20. After taking care of a 12-year-old child barely alive and chained to the floor in a psychiatric hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, she decided to open the home.

Rebeaud has spent the last 15 years in Vietnam building and running ‘Maison Chance’ which she hopes will become an integrated school, rehabilitation and community centre for homeless children and disabled persons.

In addition to producing and marketing the limited edition watch, Guess with Sequel AG have been hosting fundraising events with manufacturers and other distributors.
