Jennifer Aniston supporting Friend Courtney Cox at WIF Awards
FRIENDS actress Jennifer Aniston attended the Women In Film 2010’s Crystal + Lucy Award at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in California last week to see her FRIENDS co-star and friend Courtney Cox receive a television award. Aniston slipped into the awards show unnoticed after the red carpet had been packed up so as not to divert attention away from her friend Cox.
Since the two starred together in the hit US sitcom FRIENDS, they’ve remained close, Cox even asking Aniston to be god-mother to her daughter Coco (5). Cox’s husband of nearly 11 years David Arquette also showed his support for the actress by attending the show.
Recent tabloid reports alleged that Cox and Aniston’s friendship was on the rocks amid rumours that Cox was getting close to her “Cougar Town” co-star Brian Van Holt, but the two seemed to have weathered those rumours as the two hugged for the cameras at the show. Aniston surprised Cox by attending the show. She flew in from her film set in Hawaii where she is currently shooting “Just Go With It” alongside Adam Sandler and Brooklyn Decker–swimsuit model.
Ansiton then sneaked away quietly before the show wrapped up, clearly going for a low-profile, despite her vigorous applause during Cox’s acceptance speech.
