One Drop Changes Everything puts consumers in charge of their fragrance
The Fragrance Foundation recently launched their One Drop Changes Everything which focuses on reviving the awareness and power of fragrance. For centuries, perfumes have made their wearer feel sexy or playful, nostalgic or glamorous. The campaign thus speaks to all lovers of perfume to find out what their scent means to them.
The site, onemightydrop.com, breaks scents down into four general categories, namely floral, fresh, woody and oriental. Each category is then broken down into a further three categories each. Floral is broken down into fruity, soft floral and floral oriental. Fresh is broken down into citrus, green and water. Woody: dry woods, mossy woods and woody oriental. Oriental is broken down into floral oriental, soft oriental and woody oriental.
The site also allows users to determine which category their fragrance falls under. Each category has a list of numerous examples of each type of fragrance. Thierry Mugler’s infamous fragrance Alien, for example, falls under oriental, and then the subcategory floral. It can be found under both floral and oriental. The fragrance is radiant and hypnotic combines the scent of amber and a solar flower.
If that’s not enough, you can design your own perfume bottle with rainbow hues and various patterns and upload a personal photograph on the bottle. The campaign is focused on helping users discover their fragrance type and the power behind that fragrance. For more information visit The World of One Mighty Drop.
